First and most obviously, you like the look of one of the boats we have on offer! But this leads onto an important point, will the boat of my dreams really look that good in the flesh? At firefly we aim to represent the boats on our books as accurately as possible. Each boat is comprehensively inspected and photographed to ensure that what you see on our website is what we see in the marina. This means no wasted time travelling to see unsuitable vessels, and the quickest route to finding the boat you want. Firefly is a member of the British Marine Federation and the BRBA. You can trust us, because we are bound by their codes of conduct. Every boat is visited by one of our brokers, and we don't list boats for anybody else. Our brokers have extensive experience in the marine industry, and can provide help and advice during your search for the perfect boat. |
Browse our website to find the perfect boat for you. During this process ask yourself:

After the viewing, you can choose to walk away, no strings attached, or, if you like what you see, make an offer for the boat. We'll liase with the current owners to help the two of you agree a price. At this point, you may wish to arrange any finance plan you intend to use to purchase the boat. We can put you in touch with marine mortgage companies to help with this.
For most boats, and especially the big stuff, we'd recommend a survey before purchase. We can provide you with a list of local surveyors from which to choose, or you can appoint your own. A surveyor will assess the condition of the vesssel and make recommendations as to any work that may need doing - in order to do this they will usually need to see the boat out of the water. We can help arrange a crane or travel lift to haul the boat for the survey. Once the survey is complete you'll get a written report from the surveyor. On the basis of this, you can choose to:
Once the price is agreed, it's just a case of dotting i's and crossing t's before the boat is yours...
Once everything is in place, we'll complete the sale of the boat and she's yours! There's always a few bits & bobs to sort out after purchase, but we can help you with:
