The Crew's Role

The crew are your hosts on board and are there to ensure your holiday is one to remember. They will provide half-board meals (for more on the cuisine, please see our dining aboard page) and attend to all housekeeping.

The skipper, in conjunction with the guests, will work out a suitable itinerary for the holiday. He will sail the boat and provide informal tuition as well as deal with any formalities required by the port authorities. The skipper is primarily responsible for the safety of the whole crew.

The Chef/First Mate is responsible for provisioning the boat and preparing the meals, as well as assisting on deck as required.

The crew's role will adapt to suit the guests. Keen sailors can command the yacht, only using the skipper as an assistant when required. Conversely, If you wish to sit back, relax with a G & T and soak up the sun, the crew can sail the boat unaided. It's completely up to you.
