Greece Flights & Transfers

The nearest airport to our Sivota base is Preveza, around a 45 minute drive. Flights to Preveza from the UK run on Sundays from Gatwick and Manchester.

The cost of flying to Preveza varies according to demand. However, expect to pay around £250 in low season and £350 in high season.

Please note that yachting holidays run Sunday - Sunday. If you're interested in arriving a few days earlier and staying in a hotel, we recommend the Ionian Blue Hotel, from Bayan Blue Villas. We cannot guarantee that the yacht will be ready to accept guests until 1800 on Sunday, although we will do our utmost to allow you aboard as soon as you arrive. Please ask for more information.

If arriving from outside the UK, it may prove more convient to fly to Athens and transfer to Lefkas.

Transfers

From Preveza

Bayan Blue can arrange transfers from the airport to the yacht. You will be met at the airport and driven straight to Bayan Blue by Mercedes taxi or minibus.

If you would like us to do this for you, there is an opportunity to request transfers when giving us your party details. These normally cost around €60 per car.

From Athens

Domestic flights between Athens and Preveza are provided by Olympic Airline (www.olympicairlines.com). However, the service varies timetable throughout the year. If no suitable flight is available, it is possible to get a taxi from Athens to Lefkas. This takes around 5 hours and costs in the region of €300, including crossing the impressive Rion-Antirion bridge at Patras, the longest cable-stayed suspended deck bridge in the world.
